Acampo Terry Dress: Wash and Care Guide

Washing the Acampo

Wash it with soft things — tees, other knits — and keep it away from anything with hooks, zips or velcro. If a loop does pull

Do not cut it flush and do not yank it. Ease the loop through to the inside of the fabric with a pin or a crochet hook, and the weave will hold it in place. The surface closes back over and the dress carries on.

Drying it

Terry holds more water than a flat weave, so the dress will come out of the wash heavier than it went in. Reshape it and dry it flat, or hang it briefly and then lay it out — a long hang while saturated lets the weight stretch the fabric. Keep it out of a hot dryer, which is hard on both cotton loops and print.
